How unhinged has Howard Dean become? So bad that an MSNBC host had to gently walk him back off the ledge.
On Chris Hayes' MSNBC show tonight, Dean claimed that Scott Walker says Barack Obama was "born in Kenya." It took Hayes two attempts to break through Dean's blather, but eventually he was able to politely point out: "I should note, you mention the Kenya thing, he has not been asked that."

You won’t get it. That would open him up to credit fraud and identity fraud, among OTHER things.
I am going to say this once to all the people who would like to believe this is correct--it isn't; it is pure wishful thinking.
The possibility exists that you get a Congress which might enact legislation under the jurisdiction clause of the 14th Amendment and you might also get a Supreme Court which might uphold something like that but those are unlikely prayed fors.
Absent a change in the legislative and judicial environment, the Supreme Court at presently constituted is going to hold that any person born in the geographical territory of the United States is a citizen.
Well first thing is you need a little help from a real lawyer who knows how to do real legal research and he needs to do it either in a real Law Library or have access to one of the more complete research engines.
You need to get back to the provisions of the United States Code in 1961 where you find that provision. You then need to see the modifications which tell you that the modifications apply only to people who are born after the effective date specified for the modifications.
To do all that you also need the footnotes in the Annotated code or you need to get to the actual enrolled legislation where you find the effective date clauses.
Not really easy to do but real lawyers can show you how to do this stuff.

That's a very good idea. Maybe he should say something like "I have no idea where he was born; but I have heard he went around political gatherings in the 1990's telling anyone who wanted to listen that he was born in Kenya."

No. You kind of miss the point.
As to Barry, the guy presently in the White House, there is no documentary or other physical evidence.
Point is that his oral statements; and the campaign document posted above in #94 are evidence--they are what lawyers call statements against interest by a party; when the party makes a statement tending to prove facts that contradict his position (his current position being that he is eligible to hold the office of President under Article II Section 1, because he was born in the United States) those statements themselves are evidence.
In this case, those statements are the only evidence of his place of birth (the birth certificates they have published are digital fakes; there is no evidence to support the position of Hawaii Dept of Health). Thus from the lawyers perspective, those statements are the best evidence of his place of birth--Kenya.
In fact, I do not believe he was born in Kenya.
But when there is an ultimate legal contest over the issue which will happen at some point, those statements will put the burden of proving where he was in fact born on Barry (which I believe was outside the United States under circumstances in which he did not become a citizen at the time of his birth thus proving his ineligibility to hold the office of President).
