I never understand why isolated cases like Trayvon or Michael Brown bring out wailing about black men being gunned down and all that ...

George Zimmerman was quickly chosen as a poster boy for racism based on his name. The Race Grievance Industry thought that a white Jew shot a black and quickly mobilized to capitalize on it. By the time the media mentioned that Zimmerman was an Hispanic it was too late to retreat.

If his name had been Jose Zapata instead of George Zimmerman no one would have ever heard of him or Trayvon Martin.

Heck, to begin with they thought Zimmerman was a real full-blooded racist Kraut (remember the infamous “Zimmerman telegram” that finally got us into WWI), as in Nazi, then they had to go down to “white Jew,” and, finally, “white Hispanic.” Now they’re left to lie on the ground, chewing the carpets, and foaming at the mouth.
