Alcohol is deadlier then heroin?
I’m surprised they didn’t say that alcohol is worse than bath salts.
They’re not saying it is flat out deadlier, just that the typical user is more likely to overdose on alcohol rather than heroin. They look at the lethal dosage, versus the typical amount consumed, and they found the ratio is higher for alcohol. That doesn’t seem far-fetched to me a all, since people drink to get drunk, and it doesn’t take much to get from drunk to organ failure.
Only if you are driving a car after chugging quite a bit of it. Heroin is unpredictable as to when you will get a fatal overdose, because the amount you need to get high is fatal. Meth, well, let’s just say it doesn’t kill you instantly, but people who take it for a long time pretty much resemble the walking dead, their bodies have been turned into horror movie material.
