Had you read the article closely, you’d have seen that law enforcement had a warrant (ie., satisfied Fourth Amendment requirements). But since you brought it up, issuing a summons for a phony court is absolutely contrary to the US Constitution (and I would think the Texas Constitution as well).

I was referring to other violations of the Constitution by the fed. Executive branch, to be specific.

But they sure are quick to address percieved threats to their authority.
