The problem is the broadband providers aren’t be regulated. There are only a few big ones and they work together. In fact, both dish networks are owned by Comcast and ATT.
Telecoms *have* been fighting this. The problem is that 1) they are already heavily regulated and have to temper comments about the FCC because they still have to be able to deal with these people as they do other things, and 2) too loud and you get the “pig squealing” argument.
This is on the people to not be gullible. How’s that been going?

It seems that the FEDS think the free enterprise system has allowed “Some” to become “De-facto” monopolies.
This may be true, but so what. As long as that same system that allowed them to take risk and build the thing in the first place exists for others to challenge them.
IMHO, by adopting these “new rules” they are actually “Granting monopoly status” on those companies. By doing so, the FEDS will now have the ability to tell them what they can and can’t do, including the content they carry. You won’t find any language it the 330 page set of rules that directly say this, but this is only the first step.
Please let me know if my thinking on this is flawed.
we should file lawsuits to put a stop the these FCC laws/regulations as they are unlawful, unconstitutional , illegal and very harmful to individuals and the economy
This is some scary stuff. I haven’t seen the FCC documents but soros funded this and imo the days for this site , Drudge etc. are numbered as the FCC will now be able to hear grievances against web sites (Rush limbaugh just said this).

The cable companies should get together and announce that all internet bills will double in 60 days. Or better yet that they will suspend internet service all together. By doing so they could beat this.

The Federal telephone excise tax was originally levied to pay for the Spanish-American Civil war. The administrating department is the IRS, not the FCC.
