If you think that you can take votes for granted, that people are obligated to vote the way you want them to, then yes, I agree you’ll lose in 2016. This is a free country, if you want a vote, you have to appeal to people and convince them to vote the way you want. If you can’t do that, you’re going to lose every time.

Why should AP ammo be banned?
Many, many rifle rounds will pierce some body armor. (You can even pierce body armor with black powder!)
I see this as the Obmanistas with their foot in the door.
They would love to ban all semi automatic rifles -- even though the actual risk to the general public is extremely low, since rifles guns are used in fewer homicides than clubs and hammers.
(I held my nose and voted for McCain and Romney, so don't blame me for this!)

I don't think it should either, and an effort to ban some objectionable type of round will establish a precedent that this sort of governmental action is acceptable.

He’s going into overdrive now. A few weeks ago he said he has 2 years left so he was going to work “extra hard to bring about change” which means tyranny. Congress refuses to defend the people so it looks like we are headed towards a rebellion. He’s controlling the net so we can’t organize, now he is disarming us, next he will seize assets which is why Biden gave the speech about “emancipating peoples wealth”. This is the real deal, we are headed towards tyranny and the only way out of it is to have a full scale rebellion. I guess it had to happen sooner or later. It will be interesting to see how long people wait before they start to organize.
