House will vote Friday to prevent Homeland Security shutdown

The House will vote Friday on a bill funding the Department of Homeland Security for three weeks in an attempt to avert a shutdown slated for Saturday at the massive agency.

If the bill is approved by the House, the Senate is expected to quickly follow suit — though the upper chamber also plans to move forward with a bill funding Homeland Security through the end of the fiscal year.

Speaker John Boehner (R-Ohio) announced the new strategy to his rank-and-file members during a closed-door caucus meeting Thursday night. Senior Republicans predicted it would win enough support to clear the lower chamber. “I think we’ve got plentiful support. I was very pleased with the response. I think it’ll be a very strong vote,” House Appropriations Committee Chairman Hal Rogers (R-Ky.) told reporters after the meeting.

“Republicans: We will be blamed for the DHS shutdown.”

Dear GOP-e:
Stop worrying about what the MSM and Democrats may think, and start worrying what the guys will think who bought you corsages, brung you to the dance—and fight for you, defend your honor and dance with you—you vain, fearful, hare-brained critters.
Sincerely,
Conservatives

I heard that call too and was stunned..... He does have a podcast and each show is available and I’m going to go back and listen again to confirm.

Imagine the worst case scenario for Obama’s immigration and multiply by 100. That’s what I think I heard.

I think we will have at least 5 million voting citizens before the next election and many millions more trained in how to vote illegally with the JD enforcing new NO-IDs Permitted For Voting rules. Not only will the presidential election be predetermined but many congressional and Senatorial elections. And governors. That is if we get that far.

The country as we know it is over. We allowed it to be killed by the Left, but it was great while it lasted. I think this is how it must have felt in 1917 when the Bolsheviks took power.

In the end it won't matter whether the gulags are in Siberia, Alaska, or Arizona. They will still be gulags and they will be for the advancement of the Dictatorship of the Proletariat. In the end it will fail, of course, but maybe our great-great grandkids can do a better job of advancing freedom and liberty than we have done?

The scum are on a roll and I fear it will take extraordinary efforts to stop them if it can even be done.

The Federalist No. 58: “The House of Representatives cannot only refuse, but they alone can propose the supplies requisite for the support of the government....This power over the purse may, in fact, be regarded as the most complete and effectual weapon with which any constitution can arm the immediate representatives of the people, for obtaining a redress of every grievance, and for carrying into effect, every just and salutary measure.”

I have tried to get a recording of the second hour of his show but I don’t think he puts his shows on line.

Past shows can be downloaded from here. And his RSS feed is here.

Over 200,000. Most of them are considered "essential" and would have to show up for work without pay. 🎻

So just how many more illegals can the Obama administration process in three weeks? What a bunch of losers.

When the republicans caved on the cromnibus everyone knew that Obama’s amnesty would be funded. Saying they would tie DHS funding with this was a lie from day one. The republicans will pass it and cry and whine and say “The courts will save us.”

I truly believe Obama could announce a third term and the republicans would cry a little and that would be that. Hell, he could simply announce he’s not ever leaving and get away with it.

Why do this? Simply to give McConnell more breathing room before the IDIOT wises up and eliminates the 60 vote closure requirement for THIS particular legislation PREVENTING Obama from usurping Congress’ legislative power? Why is McConnell too COWARDLY to take this simple step?

If the Department of Homeland Security is to “shut down”, let it be because Obama VETOED the funding legislation because it defunded part of his lawlessness. GROW SOME BALLS MCCONNELL!

******

Is Obama trying to blackmail congress and create so much panic in the American people and Republicans in Congress that Congress will have no choice but to fund the Homeland Security bill stalled in Congress?

(Obama is such a two-faced hypocrite. On the one hand, he tries to reassure us that ISIS is a jayvee team, and so, according to Obama and his thugs, they really pose no true threat to the United States homeland, while, on the other hand, Obama----in order to try to get his version of the Homeland Security bill passed that grants all types of freebies instantly to 4 to 10 million illegals----warns us of terrible things that terrorists will do to us if Congress doesn't give Homeland Security everything it wants, such as broad powers to hand illegals all kinds of goodies like work permits and access to benefits like Social Security. )

Obama's blackmail attempt goes something like this:

1. Obama says: If you don't fund Homeland Security for the next year by giving it all the money it says it needs to fight terrorism---everyone knows that Obama is referring to Islamic terrorists, but he won't use the word "Islamic". What an idiot---terrorists will run wild over the United States, attacking such sites as malls and other buildings to the point that Americans will live in constant fear and terror for their lives.

2. On the other hand, according to Obama's blackmail attempt, if you give Homeland Security all the money it says it needs to fight terrorism, and, at the same time, also give it money and unlimited power to give 4 to 10 million illegals instant access to such things as work permits, housing, and benefits like Social Security, the United States will be a much safer and greater nation forever and ever. What a bunch of horse manure.

3. Hogwash: I say Hogwash. I say that it will slowly destroy the United States as we know it if we give Homeland Security broad powers to quickly process 4 to 10 million illegal aliens so that the illegals have instant access to such things as jobs, housing and benefits like Social Security.

Giving all those illegals all that they demand will do more irreversible damage to our towns and cities than any terrorists' attacks will ever do.

4. So I say this to Republican Congressmen: We take our chances with terrorists and we shutdown Homeland Security. That is, we take our chances for the next year with a stripped-down Homeland Security and hope that terrorists attacks will not be as horrible as Obama and his thugs paint them out to be.

(I believe it is safe to say that most illegals don't care about Islamic terrorists. In fact, I doubt if many illegals have any idea what Islam and ISIS are about. They are probably puzzled why Americans are so scared of this ISIS, a group far, far away on another continent nobody cares about. Most of the illegals only care about themselves. And the rest of America be damned.)

5. My point is this: Giving 4 to 10 million illegals instant access to jobs and benefits like Social Security will destroy more of the United States as we know it than any ISIS terrorist attacks in the coming year will ever destroy, even if we have to fight Islamic terrorists with a shutdown or stripped-down Homeland Security.

6. To the Republicans in Congress: Don't fall for Obama's blackmail attempt as he tries to persuade you to pass the Homeland Security bill so that he can legalize 4 to 10+ million illegals. Don't fall for Obama's scare tactics.

7. Handing Homeland Security almost unlimited broad powers this year to give 4 to 10 million illegals instant access to jobs and to such social benefits as Social Security benefits without a fight would be a horrible mistake, because such a surrender will do more severe damage to what we know as the American way of life than any ISIS terrorist attack that may hit the United States in the next year.

8. Again, I hope that Congress does not surrender to Obama's blackmail attempt when it comes to this horrible Homeland Security bill that gives Homeland Security almost unlimited powers to legalize 4 to 10+ million illegal aliens.

McConnell is controlled by Oligarchs who have wanted comprehensive immigration reform since before 2006.

GW Bush pushed comprehensive immigration reform in 2006 and lost Congress that year as a result. Now Oligarchs have got Obama playing out Executive Amnesty with the same intent. Nothing has changed except federal courts have issued an injunction against the Obama Administration.

Boehner will cave. He always does because he is weak and incompetent. And he’s also bought off by the same Oligarchs.

Who are the Oligarchs?

They are members of the Democratic Alliance which is a progressive global organization that manages money for political purposes. The Oligarchs themselves are not communists or progressives, they are power players with fascist intent.

Now the battle is waged between Executive Amnesty and Legislative Amnesty. Executive Amnesty is stopped by court injunction; Legislative Amnesty is not nor can it be. McConnell will not bring up comprehensive immigration reform but he’s very pleased to see he has the chance to fund Executive Amnesty while appearing to oppose it. He’s very two-faced that way; truly a despicable person.

If he succeeds in funding it, and it looks like he will, then there is still the court injunction. The issue will then be does funding Executive Amnesty provide de facto legislative law for Obama’s executive actions? Because if it does, then the injunction basis may be mired in opposing Congressional intent. There are still APA violations and burden and harm to states to be adjudicated. But if Obama takes the DHS funding of Executive Amnesty as Congressional authorization to proceed, then there will be a Constitutional crisis between the Executive and Judiciary Branches with Congress acting low profile.

McConnell and Boehner must be deposed ASAP along with their inner ring. They are the worst that could exist at this time in history. Boehner seems cool now but he will cave, he always does.
