This is rage (possibly drug induced), not drug gangs .

 

I suspect this is absolutely correct. And as such, legalizing meth would NOT have prevented this killing spree. If anything, legal meth would equal more meth heads and would equal more such tragedies.

I'd expect alcohol to be more likely involved than meth.

Heavy drug users don’t hold jobs but still need money for drugs. I’ve seen the same to a lesser extent with things like alcohol or cigarettes.
