Excuse my cynicism, but I don't think that's the case.
Maybe I'm wrong; but I just don't see the Republican party as interested in either Liberty or the Rule of Law.
The GOP needs some examples to use in lieu of their usual “Please don’t hit me, I’ll do ANYTHING you want”.
