Attacking black history month directly is a route to sure fire failure. Instead we should use it as an opportunity to educate about true American heroes like James Armistead and Salem Poor. He also suggests that whites should seize our rightful place in black history with guys like George Whitefield and Calvin Coolidge. Eventually the black will fade and we can morph it into American History month.

I concur. There needs to be a blending before the “special” is removed from the mistake of making anything “special”, but the UN- specialization MUST occur. The United States of America is special, not it’s British characters, or its black characters, or indigenous or Hispanic or Chinese or Dutch or etc. ad nauseam.
I’m quite fed up with “diversity”! Be Americans or ship out.
