There’s no way I can possibly believe that number. Think about it. There are about 300 million Americans.
20% of that number are under the age of 15.
That would mean that 45% of adults have an STD.
I looked up that 20% of adults see they have had only one partner.

That number is totally BS.

It could also be like abortion and divorce. Some people have multiple STDs and are counted multiple times in the overall.

These STDS include herpes, genital warts chlamydia, as well as the well known STDS.

It is a believable figure.

110 million out of 330 million is 33%.

I think the number of STI’s higher. 79 million Americans are infected with HPV alone.
