It wasn't so long ago that Republicans were viewing the prospect that the Supreme Court might overturn a key provision of the Affordable Care Act with unalloyed glee.
The court might "ultimately take it down," Senate Majority Leader Mitch McConnell (R-Ky.) crowed in December. "You could have a mulligan here, a major do-over of the whole thing, that opportunity presented to us by the Supreme Court."

If the Republicans had a set of balls they would run ads showing the cause of this disaster,Pelosi stating,we have to pass it to see what’s in it. Maybe if the lying bastard democrats were not looking to intimidate Governors into signing onto this .ess they would not have written the law the way it is,I myself believe the Democrats figured they could write it saying you only get subsidies in exchanges set up by the States,knowing the press would back them up when the crap hit the fan and Republicans attempted to stop them,which is exactly what is happening.

John Boehner bought stock in healthcare companies in Dec 2008 and he has made millions. He wants obamacare to continue.
Yep, they got the goods on him for sure. A little not-so-subtle “reminder” to Roberts will help him to gather his thoughts to frame the issue “properly”. Yes, he’ll come around for the Dems once again. They have his number.
Obama will not be so flamboyant. He will be content with the reality without having to take the titles. If he is not the actual ruler then he will pass from the political scene next year on schedule but his replacement will be from the same or complementary mold and controlled by the same others. Modern totalist states do not dispense with elections. Elections do not have the same effect as they do in a functioning republic, however.
The dems have figured out that Boehner & McConnell have very short attention spans and are more interested in Happy Hour, the next cocktail party and special interest kickbacks than actually serving the Country.
This is true; I think it has to do with the demonetization of all things male/masculine in society.

Blackmail is how it is with any pol that the rulers desire to subborn. NSA knows who kissed the little girl on the cheek in first grade and everything else that ever got written down or recorded in any way.

The Republican party is all talk, and when they do DO it’s something that harms us.
You do the best you can with your votes but when the pols get to Washington they learn very quickly that they can be wealthy for life by toeing the line even if it costs them re-election and ostracized and limited to their salaries if they do not. That is why out of all those conservative firebrands that went to Washington in 2012 and 2014 only 4 or 5 are still functionally conservative.
They should have a plan, maybe grandfather in existing subsidies, work with insurance companies to accommodate.
These imbeciles in D.C. manaaged to set up this whole debacle, surely they can make some adjustments without overloading their tiny brains.
If they can’t buy you with favors, they blackmail you with fear. I suspect this is a far more common and widely used tactic against political opponents than many would believe. Politics is dirty business.
They think that we're stupid, and that we possess endless patience. I don't think that's the case, actually.

In Washington there’s a term that describe what happens to newly elected, idealistic politicians: Potomac Fever. Once they get to DC they quickly learn to adhere to the old adage “to get along, go along”. They take up residence and get used to the perks of office, publicity and power. The soon become creatures of the system and forget all about those “hicks” back home that voted them into office. The transformation is complete, in short order.

The new bill must clearly define a satisfactory path that will take current Obamacare enrollees to the new plan.
The republican’s priority now should to win the next election.
They need to waddle along, say sweet nothings and don’t tell the whole truth in order to win over as many voters as they can.
I long to be The Congressional Hangman.
All my life I've been of mediocre prominence, at best.
But, to be The Congressional Hangman would ensure a place in History, and perpetual reverence.

I predict the Court will not change the law. They will say too much time has passed and to over rule the law now will cause too much of a problem for the U.S.
