Once those boys are scrambled their attention is on their targets. Sorry, but that’s how it is. What should have happened is that the JCS should have resigned en masse years ago. Now it’s really too late for any sort of rebellion in the ranks.
The Air Force isn’t going to be as trigger happy as you are making them out to be.
