My son is there to learn not to make this fat stupid teacher feel good. If he is out in the hall, he is learning that abusive people are cruel and nothing else.

On the other hand, if he is disrupting class then he is keeping other children from learning.

There is nothing abusive about punishing children for bad behavior.

Your son is learning from you that he should be able to do anything he wants, and the other children in the classroom are unimportant. I can see now why he was in the hallway. He gets his attitude from you.

That is so laughable you ought to be writing jokes for Letterman. If your son was there to learn, he wouldn't need to be sitting in the hallway. He is sitting in the hallway because hes isn't there to learn. I would also bet that a parents attitude has a lot to do with that.
