Same here. I’m 73. It happened to me in 9th grade, the teacher’s name was Chad Foreman, I was sitting three seats back from the front in the center row, and if the building were standing, I could point out my locker. I may not remember what I did every second last week, but I have not forgotten any detail of that moment. Never went back to a class reunion. Don’t tell me a moment like this for a little person won’t affect them.
When adults betray a child it does have long lasting repercussions. My memory...was playing with a friend and she accidentally got hurt. My mother conspired with the friends mother to send me to the house to pick up some cookies she had baked. I knocked on door and was immediately verbally attacked. No cookies either. I Never trusted an adult again.
