Maybe they are running a little late? That would be about 20 mins late if true. Not a big deal. There is probably a lot for security to deal with right now. Obama Inc is pulling out all the stops to keep this from happening.
That’s a Congressional rule I’d like to see. If their guests can’t behave themselves while there, the Congressperson who gave them their tickets will be held accountable. They should lose their ability to give out tickets for at least a year. I’d like to see a ban until the end of their term.
From the C-span site, the event is scheduled to start at 10:45 am Eastern. I suspect the speech is some time after that.
