Even Saudis Want Netanyahu to Address Congress
ISRAEL TODAY ^ | 3 Mar 15 | Israel Today Staff

As Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu prepared on Tuesday to address the US Congress regarding the Iran threat, in direct defiance of the Obama White House, at least one nation outside of Israel was supportive of the move: Saudi Arabia.

Writing in the Saudi daily newspaper Al-Jazirah on Monday, columnist Dr. Ahmad Al-Faraj called Netanyahu’s appearance before Congress under such circumstances “unprecedented in US political history.”

Obama Administration officials and Netanyahu’s political rivals in Israel insisted the speech is a mistake and would only serve to damage US-Israel relations. But Dr. Al-Faraj said the Israeli leader was providing a vital service not only to the Jewish state, but the entire Middle East.

“I am very glad of Netanyahu’s firm stance and [his decision] to speak against the nuclear agreement at the American Congress, despite the Obama administration’s anger and fury,” wrote the Saudi. “I believe that Netanyahu’s conduct will serve our interests, the people of the Gulf, much more than the foolish behavior of one of the worst American presidents.”

Al-Faraj hinted Obama’s naive and dangerous behavior in the Middle East had necessitated someone like Netanyahu taking a bold stand.

“…Obama is the godfather of the prefabricated revolutions in the Arab world, and…he is the ally of political Islam, [which is] the caring mother of [all] the terrorist organizations,” he wrote, suggesting that any deal struck by this particular American president could simply not be trusted.

John Bolton on FOXNEWS just said that the Obama administration is “acting collectively like they are still in high school”

Mr. Bolton is being altogether too kind. The Obama administration, on a daily basis, shows that they haven't even graduated from pre-school yet...

That’s insulting to high school students who are far more mature. Obama is on the level of a two year old who has never been told no.

Bibi couldn’t name them, but he was speaking for the Saudis, Gulf States, the Jordanians and the Egyptians. Saudis have agreed to allow Israel to use their airspace to attack Iran.

I consider Saudi Arabia a country where there are no unofficial opinions published, not much different than Russia.

With Shia dominated Iraq to the north and these Shia guerillas ousting the sunni government in Yemen to the South Saudi Arabia is certainly concerned. What the idiots in this administration do not understand is that actions have consequences. Do they actually think that if Iran gets a nuke that’s the end of it? Once they get a nuke anyone with half a brain knows that Saudi Arabia will be on the fast track to get one also. Who knows where this nuclear arms race would end.

I agree. Probably Obama is the only one in the world besides Jimmy Carter and Zbigniew Brzezinski who thinks Iran’s mad mullah with nuclear weapons is no big deal.

So many people have pointed this out too. The Obama plan that allows a path to nuclear weapons for Iran is the worst outcome for the world that we could end up with. It would make every other idiotic policy and program seem like small potatoes by comparison.

I know you’re right. Obama is about as popular in the Arab world as the mad mullahs of Iran.

And also shows how radical the Muslim is we got in the White House. Did you EVER think in a million years that we would ever have a sitting US President who sided more with radical Islam than freakin’ Islamic nations? It’s the height of insanity that this Congress allows him to spend one more single solitary day in office but it goes to show how much they think of the country or the rest of the world for that matter. It’s ALL about them isn’t it. Just scum of the earth.

These are the types of things where we have failed to truly educate in this country. Too many people are uneducated about world affairs. It’s kewl and hep to listen to Ron and Rand Paul. What’s it matter if Iran gets a nuke? No sweat off our backs. That’s their business. The Pauls are truly irresponsible on foreign policy.

How can a speech ”serve to damage US-Israel relations”? I wonder what the Obama Administration thought he was going to say.

Bibb should have exposed the anti-Semite and watched him squirm...not that the press would report it.

Foolish behavior? Damn, obozo is drunk on power and is a out of control rabid dog POS who is putting We the People in grave danger. He is the enemy of We the People. What's it going to take to stop this rabid dog? Who will step up and rid us of this dangerous man, because as Rush Limbaugh just announced, Iran is 75% closer to having a nuclear bomb and time is of the essence. Hopefully, someone from Saudi Arabia, or ?, by any means possible. The Russians are very good at rubbing people out by the skillful use of poisons. What will it take for our military generals to have the balls to do something about obozo? Well, they'll need a leader to lead them, such as a Ted Cruz or Scott Walker. It is an outrage that the Senate will do nothing about obozo, while their lives are at risk as well by the acts of rabid dog obozo. It reminds me of the Jews walking into the crematoriums without a fight in WWII. Yes,they would have lost the fight, but at least they attempted to save themselves. Our Senate sits on their arses and do nothing, no push back, no fight in them to do the right thing, and they DO have the power to do so. So what do they fear more, obozo or their eventual demise if obozo’s alliance with Iran blows up in his face, and they turn their nukes on the USA?

One more thing, Rush just asked the question: why does obozo want Iran to have a nuclear bomb. My guess is that obozo wants to partner with Iran against the rest of the world, two of the greatest powers, as it were, ready to join forces and threaten those countries who will not march in step with them. What think you about this?

The Obama administration plays checkers while the world is a chess game.

I believe the Obama administration does play chess. It's just that they are on the wrong side of the board.

The whole deal is this - the Iranians would attack saudi arabia before israel. It makes more sense. That is why the saudis are adamant about helping israel with overflights to Iran. Entangling alliances, caught in are we.

You would complain if the Saudi's help Israel attack Iran?
