Pay close attention to the ‘ticker’ on all your local & nationwide news shows. The grammar, the spelling & the general sentence structure is horrid.

I live in the Pacific time zone, so by the time I see the ABC Good Morning America telecast, it is off the air. They even had one item last week that didn’t have a noun in the sentence. Made no sense at all.

I call the local Reno station all the time with their spelling errors.

Disgusts me that they are even paying someone to prepare these stupid remarks.

Try listening to people who use the wrong words, especially on TV or the radio. Indeed, how many people would have written my first sentence as:

Try listening to people that use the wrong words.

Keep your ears peeled for the wrong use of then when they mean that, too. If you like liberal-speak, listen to ads that use the word "deserve". It doesn't matter if you're a deadbeat, you "deserve" a free cell phone paid for with my tax dollars. Idiots...

Just look at news stories posted on MSM websites. Proofreading is a lost art.
