You are both correct. I am at a loss as to what to do now and to escape the normalcy bias of almost all of us. The only thing I can think of now that is remotely still within a governmental structure is for some of the states to secede. Nothing seems likely and certainly not any GOP 2016 electioneering efforts.
2016 is approaching. Given that the GOPee has not changed even though they now have the power, their reign will be short.
