Time to repeal the 17th amendment. It will end the uniparty and avoid misery and blood shed.
That, and repeal the 14th Amendment (which prohibits questioning the validity of the public debt), and slamming down actual limits on the income tax [via amendment] would do wonders to change the political climate. (Here's several proposals for amendments I have.)
