Bush is remembered for 2 things, rightly or wrongly....

1) Trying to ram amnesty down our throats(rightly)

2) The 2008-present recession (partially, at best)

I really believe 75% of the country wouldn’t vote for him.

Just mentioning that there were a lot of folks saying in 2012 that Mediocre Mitt didn’t have a chance at the nomination either.

I remember him for the 2006 amnesty thing, realized the 2008 thing had little to do with him, but the main thing I remember is him not defending those positions I agreed with him about. He destroyed himself, and his party (in a way helped destroy the country) with the "new tone" nonsense.

To this day, he says nothing about the tyranny of the left, and still gets blamed for the horrendous things they do. That family should just go away as far as I'm concerned.
