Just sayin’, but he’s incredibly fortunate to have survived. Lot’s of vets had single and dual limb loss due to IED’s and survived.

“How does a guy get both of his legs blown off below the knees and not bleed out and die in a matter of three or four minutes? Seems impossible. I have never even heard of such a horrific injury where they didn’t die of blood loss or at least pass out. I think I’ve seen a photo of this same guy riding in a wheelchair fully conscious. I bet he wasn’t even treated by EMT’s or any medical personell for 5-10 minutes, and probably didn’t make it to a hospital before at least 15, right? Miracle?”
Because a hero named Carlos Arrendondo whose son was killed in action in Iraq was at the scene and applied tourniquets to both of Bowman's legs and saved his life.
