Do you understand draft messaging? Two or more people have the log in information for an account. Messages are left in the draft tab and never sent. Every one with the pass word has access and can reply or add to the message ?

I think Hillary did this because for her it was the most private and secure way to do things. It also kept Obama from seeing her messages.
She has her own server...for her staff. Emails are sent only between them, no one outside of the server address.
YOu wouldn’t need to do the draft message thing.
There would still be a record of that draft on the server. That’s where having physical access to the drive that contains that database comes in handy.
