A federal judge has been shot in the leg at his home in Detroit Thursday night.

look out for somebody who did something bad No kidding. The other descriptive line in the story was "two people wearing dark clothing".
In other words carry a weapon and have the thugs down and cooling when the law happens by for I.D.

Well he could have been dangling his leg outside his house shot in the leg while the rest of him was still inside the house legally making him mostly inside the house but the shot part outside the house.
