Nearly 22 million people want a job, or are working part-time involuntarily. ___ The Federal Reserve has said that, in the long run, the unemployment rate cant go much below 5.2% to 5.5% without fostering a lot of unwanted inflation. With the February report, weve crossed that line.
Already, the Fed is under a lot of pressure to raise interest rates this summer to make sure inflation doesnt get too high. The February jobs report adds to that pressure.
Theres just one problem: Inflation isnt too high, and theres no sign that inflation will suddenly accelerate. In fact, the main concern right now is that the inflation rate is too low.

93.7 million Americans, are now no longer looking for a job.
93.7 million.
PSSST. You wanna buy a bridge?
Certainly not - especially if the price of food is never measured!
What is the food “shrinkflation” rate? Real high in my neck of the woods.
When did she say we were?
When did she say we were?
Not sure exactly what you mean, but thanks for your post.
Just for reference:

93.7 million Americans are no longer in the labor force at all. That number is rising, every month.
For months if not years all these jobs are basically 2 part-time gains for every full-time loss, and finally the media has painfully had to acknowledge what was there all along...
That is stunning especially considering US population is about 320 million. 93.7 million is almost 30%!
So we can do what Jeff Goldblum did in Independence Day. Calculate the month and year when everyone is now out of the workforce, when it counts down to zero, to find out when the shit will hit the fan.

It is worse than that if you exclude those under 16 and those over 70.
According to Wikipedia:
1564 years: (male 101,612,000/female 104,577,000)
So that’s 206,189,000 Americans of working age.
Oh you are right.....full employment is 4 percent. We are only at 5.5 percent....long way to go til perfection........

“Already, the Fed is under a lot of pressure to raise interest rates this summer to make sure inflation doesnt get too high.”
Their, measure of inflation = the mumber of mortgages, borrowers, and loans outstanding, with the full knowledge that those that default or are bad MBD/CDS get full backstopping by BodyMortgage-Care or their friends packed in government. “The Family”
So raise interest rates to prevent more loan money from inflating.
The true definition of evil is as follows:
penes pen’-ace
from a primary peno (to toil for daily subsistence); starving, i.e. indigent:—poor.
hurtful, i.e. evil
