In my opinion, Supreme Court ruled in favor of Notre Dame and vacated an onerous decision by the 7th District Court.

I believe tThis is very good news for Notre Dame and all of us.

The 7th District Court had ruled against Notre Dame where, in essence, the university had argued that they should be able to avoid the Obama Care demand that they support abortion.

Now the Supreme Court vacated the 7th District Court’s ruling and sent it back. IMHO, the Supreme Court is saying that Notre Dame should have religious freedom protection similar to the ruling for Hobby Lobby.

It is a shame and travesty that such obvious religious freedom should have to go to the SCOTUS for a decision in the first place. Similarly, that the wanton killing of unborn children should have ever been legalized in the first place.

In my opinion, God in Heaven will not forever sit back and allow such depravity to consider amongst a people so blessed as this nation.

The Catholic Church’s teaching s that artificial contraception is mortal sin.

I know it is a losing battle in today’s anything goes culture, but I would expect all Christians of any faith/sect to encourage abstinence except in holy matrimony.

Sometimes - nay, all the time - it’s preferable to do that which is moral and right over that which is popular and expedient. Straight gate vs. broad path...

Good news for sure....just that I wonder how many Notre Dame people actually vote Democrat...I do not have the numbers but It`s something like 50% of all Catholics that vote Democrat

In my mind, voting Democrat means a person is giving their OK to abortion,Gay Marriage and the removal of God Christ from the classroom/public square.

It goes further...means they are ok with gay adoption, the removal of Christian crosses from veterans cemeteries, and even that child pornography is a art form

So it really boggles the mind how these people apparently have no fear of Gopd...If they had stopped voting Democrat in 1960 or thereabouts , we would not have to be fighting this stuff now.

And how many of the Catholics that are upset about this stuff are going to vote Democrat again in 2016...I bet most of them will

" But I have a deep queasy feeling that the Supreme Court has sided with Obama on this..."

It's painfully obvious by beotch slapping the 7th District about their weak arguement that the USSC has not. Anyone got the vote count for this ruling? Of course 4 believers in an absurd Living Constitution voted against said decision.

As for the 37 States' lawsuit regarding "subsidies", I predict that the USSC will not be able to get around their own ruling in the penalty/tax issue Roberts caved on. Remember, part of that ruling was the Fedgov could not penalize States for not increasing their Medi-Care or Medi-Caid via the Commerce Clause which was argued by the liberal socialists. That was a huge win for States' rights and redefined the intent of the abused Commerce Clause.

Perhaps matched only by the irony of how little “action” the protesters are likely having to insist on such desperate need for contraceptives.

Don’t you just love the protesters’ signs that say contraception is not their bosses’ business while at the same time they want their bosses to pay for it?

That's a really good point.

Their point is that their employer is blocking their access by not paying for it. Which, of course, is a ridiculous assertion since their employer is not blocking anything and they are perfectly capable of paying for it themselves - but this is the entitlement mentality we are up against.
