For some reason, those forms never got filled out. And they have nazi inspector marks on them.

Now I know you're just funning me. For it's a fact that all nazi sidearms were confiscated by the Allied authorities right after the surrender. If that wasn't true, then my cousin would have a mint condition nazi Walther PPK, which he doesn't have.

If I did get one with “prize papers” that allowed import back into the U.S., I would have no idea what happened to them. I think my MIL might have thrown them out not knowing what it was.n after all, they both worked at Smith and Wesson before and after the war, so they knew next to nothing about pistols.

Yeah.. I think it went into the trash.
