Oh good grief, who cares? People are getting their heads cut off, burned alive, children being used as “suicide bombers”, blacks are committing crimes, including upon whites and other non-blacks at rates all out of proportion to their percentage of the population, and CBS thinks it’s national news that someone, somewhere, said “ni**er”? I have utter “racism fatigue”.
And this is the most salient point in regards to this tempest in a tea pot. It is a stupid and trivial thing that has the nation focused on petty hurt feelings rather than actual and serious matters.
So someone said something mean. Boo Hoo. Big f***ing deal. Grow up and get over it.
Not to be unkind, but I too am getting "racism fatigue." It is just not one of the things that ought to be occupying our concern right now, and the Gestapo like reaction to it has me more concerned than the original offense.
