Sometimes I think the Jews never got the ancient nomadic character out of their souls. One of the things they like about socialism is the internationalism it represents.
I guess the whole idea of Israel, is that Jews can from anywhere on the globe to be welcomed into a homeland. Maybe that brings with it a lot of varied political baggage.
