A journey from Goldwater libertarian beliefs to a committment to the Muslim Brotherhood.

Tell me where I have missed the intervening steps that led to this outcome, so I do not mistakenly follow. The MB is the antithetical and diametric OPPOSITE of what Goldwater stood for, and I cannot see the rationale for the transformation.

Grover Norquist seems to despise his “boring white-bread, Methodist” background. Perhaps it is no longer enough to keep his inner fires fueled?

Now Allah, that is a god that will get the flames stoked right back up again. Way better than that meek, soft Christ. (OK, for those of you who could not see it, that was sarcasm. Pay attention.)

The best way to subvert an army is to take over its generals.

The intervening steps ... ?
I don't think it went that far.
I think it was simple GREED and Grover Norquist went for "the money".
So the MB bought a puppet, or a dupe that they could manipulate.
But that's just my guess.
It might be that Grover Norquist wants "the little people" weak and unarmed, since he might perceive them to be a "THREAT" to his perceived power.
But that's just my guess.

Maybe.
But ... when it comes to Muslim anything, TOTAL ANNIHILATION is what's called for.
We can't afford to mess around with those CRAZIES.
It's time to go OLD TESTAMENT on them, and NAPALM would be a good start.

Randian libertarianism was THE major influence on Satanism, LaVey admitted that much. They are atheists, and what is that other than putting yourself on a pedestal, letting the flesh decide what is good and what is evil.

A big problem with the Bush family was the attempted marriage of Randian libertarianism and Evangelical Christianity, which are diametrically opposed.

If you’ve got no core, you are a useful idiot and the Muslims will happily take advantage of you.

Possibly the marriage to his muzzie wife that turned the tide for him.

I think too Grover’s got the whole trust-fund-baby angst thing going on which seems to be where we get the rich boy terrorists from like Bill Ayers and Osama Bin Laden. Anybody can build a good life on what this guy was handed, but he wants to leave a legacy, you see.

One of my very favorite people is a rich guy, and I watched some of what his life was like. Everybody wanted something or another and kissed up to the family, and how can you trust people who always tell you what they think you want to hear? You know what I think these guys don’t realize is that they are surrounded by people who often are not the best representatives of humanity. I don’t think they realize most people are quite happy to avoid the sideshow altogether.

Whereas Bill Ayers seem to think the whole thing was terrible and wanted to spread communism, this guy seems actually into the idea of very extreme inequity, which is what you see in Muslim countries. That and lots of censorship.
