Urban blacks are enraged that non-blacks collect any government paychecks in areas that are predominantly black; it is viewed as political patronage that is due them. Merit means nothing; they want non-working blacks to receive maximum benefits on the dole, and all jobs teaching, policing, delivering mail, etc. (administering the welfare hatcheries) should automatically be awarded to those blacks who bother getting up in the morning.
All that can be done by citizens like us is to tell as many people as possible what is going on SPECIFICALLY- like your report on the NAACP settlement. Get the details and pass them on.
