I wonder if the state and county police forces are going to have a severe case of blue flu. Police were shot and there was no return fire. Crowds want police blood. Particularly if you are White, why would you go to Ferguson if you can find any alternative?
There was no return fire because they could see no target to fire at. The first rule of disciplined gunfire is always to have a target.
