She probably has everything backed up on another drive, now in a safe somewhere.

The ones they deleted from and printed from, were probably subsequently destroyed and new drives were installed in the server. All the IT forensics in the world won’t bring back what was never there.

When you have politicians voting on legislation they did not even read, how in the world can you expect them to actually read emails to determine if they should be deleted ? My prediction is they are going to take us into World War III and not even be able to tell us why we have to fight WWIII. We need to drastically lower our expectations of what our politicians are capable of performing. Hey there is only so much one can do with a drink in one hand

Were the emails encrypted or not?

If they were encrypted, who else (besides Hillary?) would be able to decrypt them and read them? Is it possible to do keyword searches on encrypted files?

Fantastic Point!

I didn’t even think of this, I was so fixated on the fact she had a server in her house to begin with.

Did she delete them right after she sent / received them?

Is She telling us that she sat in front of her Computer for a about a Year straight reading through ALL her Emails and deciding which ones to Delete?

How does this Woman get away with such outrageous things?

If her story is to be believed:

There were 80,000 or so emails on the server.
These 80,000 were broken down into “personal” and “work”
Hillary (and aides, presumably) deleted 30,000 or so “personal” emails.
That leaves 50,000 “work” emails on the server

So if there is nothing but her “work” emails on the server, why not just turn the entire server over?

Also, that “logic” assumes that an email such as:

Hillary,
I’ve been in touch with Iran and they are willing to talk. Also, what gift do you think I should get Chelsea for her bridal party?

-Huma

Is that a personal email? A work email? Would such an email have been deleted (duh, of course).

This whole thing is SICKENING. I felt like we had washed the stink of the Clintons from the WH back in 2000. The idea of having them back literally makes my stomach roil (seriously, it is. Right now.)

Another national security issue. Who reviewed and deleted these emails, Huma and the MB? Did they put the whole thing on a thumb drive? and sold to? or being held for later blackmail?

Clinton insists that the 30,000 emails she has deleted

Why, pray tell, would she bother to delete 30,000 personal emails?

Probably been said, but that’s an inaccurate headline. Plenty of people read those emails, just not the people who should have gotten to review them.

So she deleted all emails that weren’t saved to the state department servers (so otherwise retrievable, as she knew when she wrote them)—including all emails to/from her top aide, who also used her server, and to/from any foreign source.

Who assisted her in this task, and what security clearance did they possess?

It doesn't matter. It wasn't the State Department's official vetter of public-private records so it was a felony to delete any of them.

For more than a year after she left office in 2013, she did not transfer work-related email from her private account to the State Department. She commissioned a review of the 62,320 messages in her account only after the department–spurred by the congressional investigation–asked her to do so.

She didn't have them deleted until after the State Dept. asked her to turn them over. That shows intent to hide documents.

They didn't ask her to hire someone to review them, that's not State Dept. protocol, they asked her to turn them over for their reviewer. All of them. That's the purpose of their review. More intent to defraud.

Get ready Hill, you ain’t Bill. Hopefully, the soon to be disbanded US Senate and House of Representatives can get a good legal overhanded, and deep underhanded shot at you- before their public dismissal by Emperor Obama. Fare thee not, you inhumane shame of Humanity

I have prepared email accounts for legal discovery, quite a few, actually. Had I told the judge, "Well, I threw a few search terms at it and deleted the rest," I'd be in a prison cell until the heat death of the universe and deservedly so.

No one read them because it was assumed they were all incriminating.
