We conservatives need to coalesce early. And that’s probably happening. We’ll go for Walker or Cruz.

Perry had his chance, Santorum’s a joke and a has-been, Trump’s going nowhere. Who else is there?

Jeb’s a liberal republican, and none of us will vote for him.

Walker or Cruz for me. Even Paul's alright in a weird way.

I live in NJ and have never had a meaningful say in who the nominee is, so it's up to you out there.

True, if you look at last cycle, the polling leaders were at different times Rick Perry, Michele Bachmann, Herman Cain, Newt (TWO DIFF TIMES), and eventually Mitt Romney. In other words, a minimum of six lead changes - and that’s from just the Ames straw poll thru the first caucus. From now, there may be ten or fifteen lead changes.

The race hasn’t even started. And Walker will prove wrong on ethanol and on amnesty.

I forgot about Rubio, who is the Establishment’s backup plan if Jeb doesn’t gain traction.

So I’m out with some big libs last night, and of course politics comes up. They say Hillary will win the presidency easily (apparently they didn’t see her pathetic press conference). They said: Rubio-too young. Cruz-too polarizing. Jeb-not another Bush. Walker-didn’t go to college. I say he went for 3.5 years, and was 5 classes short. 20% of past presidents didn’t go to college. He’s a dunce because of that they say. Ah yes- he wins 3 elections in 4 years in a deep blue union state- sure. They spent the most time on him comparing him to Palin at one point. The term “stupid” came up a lot. So they are the most afraid of Walker. Who knew. In the end they want us to pick Governor Crispy Cream as our nominee. And they still love the Messiah.

"Even Paul's alright in a weird way."

With the potential national security threats popping up aroudn the world, we cannot elect this man.

If I had to vote today in a Republican primary, Walker would get my vote.

It's a long time til my primary, so who knows which way I'll vote when the time comes.

Unlike many here, I'll most likely vote for the eventual Republican nominee, so long as he comes from one of the candidates in the mix now. My support may be shallow, but he will eventually get my vote.

Of course they do. It would be the perfect follow up in the series of McCain and Romney and a guaranteed GOP defeat.

And if I recall correctly even Donald Trump was leading in the polls a time or two as well. And don't forget that polls in Iowa in February and March of 2011 were showing Huckabee in the lead.

It's a long campaign season and anything can happen. Walker is leading now but he'd better not get too comfortable or he's going to find himself overtaken. And you can't forget the advantage Bush will have in terms of money and establishment support.

I could live with Walker but Cruz is still my first choice by far. He doesn't waver in his stand on any issue, he's intelligent and articulate, and he's the kind of firm leader we need right now.

Our biased, partisan media has proven to me time and time again that they can stop ANYBODY, once they put their mind to it.
