There is so much baroque/classical/romantic music available on YouTube, it makes modern music seem almost nonexistent.

But, but, but ... Vevo.

Sorry to ruin your day. Unfortuntely it is not nonexistent. It's just mostly total crap.

LOL Vevo. People don't bother with Vevo when they want music.

And I did not say it is nonexistent. I said that the amount of baroque/classical/romantic-era music is plentiful enough on YouTube to more than hold its own and make the new noise seem almost nonexistent; certainly it is more timeless than the come-and-go “artistry” of the modern purveyors.

How about this: Chris Thile performing Bach's Sonatta No. 1 in G Minor on a mandolin. It's beautiful and awesome to behold.
