Most hotels I’ve stayed at lately are using the Flushmate pneumatic flush tanks, which seem very effective. These use water pressure to compress air via a 2 area piston system.

I yell a couple of expletives in the direction of Washington every time I have to flush it more than once which is about half the time.

I have better things to do than to stand in a bathroom and wait for the toilet to fill before I hit it again.
