President Obama, whose party was trounced in last year’s midterm election due to poor turnout among Democrats, endorsed the idea of mandatory voting Wednesday.
“It would be transformative if everybody voted,” Mr. Obama said during a town-hall event in Cleveland. “That would counteract [campaign] money more than anything. If everybody voted, then it would completely change the political map in this country.”
Mr. Obama raised the subject during a discussion of curbing the influence of campaign donations in U.S. elections. The president said he had never discussed the idea publicly before, but said Australia and some other countries have compulsory voting.

That’s a great point. Just because everyone is required to vote, doesn’t mean everyone will. All of the votes of people who didn’t really vote will go to Democrats.

Forcing ones will upon another is RAPE and a crime and is the antithesis of the founding nature of America’s freedom and liberty!! Even when the Federal government says it’s the LAW and if we are forced to comply against our will, in the eyes of natural law, it is a crime.
Bo’s (another) executive action to mandate everyone has to vote should not surprise us...he’s setting the stage for the Demorats because they cannot win without opening the illegal aliens here to vote......and they fully know this.
No doubt the Democrats have no leg to stand on...but at times I do wonder if Obama’s going to create some terrible situations in his time left that would take the Republicans win far more than four years to clean up, therefore letting the Republicans win this next election and come back in four years to pick up where they left off!

The article says in Australia, if you don’t vote, you get fined and/or put in jail.
So, Obama could “lose” the votes of conservatives and put us all in jail/prison. Would he do it? YES.
