They will not flunk college; affirmative action degrees are being given out like candy already (to certain preferred minority groups). You would weep if you could see a co-worker of mine; he has a MASTERS DEGREE, and knows little of the subject. Yes, he is a preferred minority - and he is working as a data entry clerk.
This has been going on in NJ public schools for years (”social promotion” and such); we knew a guy when we were younger who never spent a day in eighth grade - he failed seventh grade twice (and was held back), and upon failing the third time he was simply made a high school freshman because he was too old to be around the real seventh graders...
I don’t believe we need immigrants for the well-paying jobs in our economy; I do believe they fill a niche for entry-level jobs in some areas because there are no Americans with basic job skills to do them.
I guess it's now vogue to be able to tell little Johnny that while he failed miserably, he didn't fail as miserably as he could have failed - oh wait, w/o true accounting, he did fail as miserably as he was allowed to do...
it's all becoming common core math to me.
