It used to be the term transgendered was reserved for freaks like Chaz Bono and Bruce Jenner (once he completes the surgery) that actually have surgery to try to become the opposite sex. What this “transgendered” male really is, is just what used to be called a cross dresser ala Ru Paul.

Well, Blue, I might agree with your definitions, but that is no longer the way people are looking at things.
Now people can “be” a man or a woman regardless of their parts.
Chaz Bono, for example, has not has what Rush Limbaugh calls an addadicktome operation. And my guess would be that many people don’t.
They take hormones and that provides some semblance of masculnitiy or femininity what ever the case may be, but they don’t go all the way.
It is very demented, but perhaps less demented that wacking off or sewing on important parts of yourself.
