For the non-EXEMPT, THIS is the future of “medicine”
under ObamaCARE/DeathCARE.
You first, Senator, and take Marx with you.
Years ago I heard Joni Erickson-Tada discuss the dying with dignity proponents. She said it is usually healthy, well to do people imagining what they might want if they were suffering. The disabled already know what it is like to not have total control over their own lives and the thought of doctors and others having the power to make end of life decisions is terrifying.
Muslims.
This state is going down the slippery slope....
Pray for REVIVAL in America. Pray for a SPIRITUAL REBIRTH.
2 CHRONICLES 7:13-14
13 At times I might shut up the heavens so that no rain falls, or command grasshoppers to devour your crops, or send plagues among you.
14 Then if my people who are called by my name will humble themselves and pray and seek my face and turn from their wicked ways, I will hear from heaven and will forgive their sins and restore their land.
The establishment will call assisted suicide palliative care. The intent is to create a mindset in the public that assisted suicide is the righteous thing to do because it will save money for the family and country. We need to be very wary of how the media and politicians play this.
However, that's not what this legislation is about. It's about lethal drug overdoses prescribed by death-docs who aren't even qualified to diagnose depression.
And the only "protection" in thess law --- which generally mirror Oregon's law --- is protection for the prescribing doctor, not the patient. The law protects the doctor from lawsuit, even if there's evidence of coercion on the part of a death-promoting heir (giving grim new significance to the saying "Where there's a will, there's a way.")
The drug-pushing doctor cannot be sued if he claims he acted in "good faith," a claim it is practically impossible to disprove in court, unless he actually took a bribe in front of a witness.
Anyone who wants to commit suicide on their own can do so, and 30 minutes' worth of mousing around on the Internet can tell you how.
But don't insist on "authorization" or "participation" from church or state or medico or politico. Surely in the name of autonomy, a would-be suicider can take care of business without insisting on corrupting the political, legal, and medical professions.
A self-respecting suicider (I am not recommending this) should be individually responsible for himself. This "legalized" "physician-assisted" crap just puts more death-dealing power in the hands of the State.
Democrats are the party of death!
