There is more to the story than 63. There are American companies laying off STEM workers, replacing them with H1B workers and forcing the laid off citizens to train their lower wage replacements or be denied severance. H1B is not, like amnesty, a bright red line but neither is it something that I support or will rationalize.

Why are you delibrately misleading people with your posts?

Both posts 63 and 72 cover what this was really about-Yet you persist in trying to twist a two year old dead amendment into an attack on Cruz.

I also heard someone being interviewed who was knowledgable about this who said the severence agreements usually include a "non-disparagement" clause that prohibits those being replaced by H1Bs from speaking publically about what was done.
