Former U.S. Rep. Jesse Jackson Jr. will be released from a federal prison on Thursday and will serve out the remainder of his term in a Washington, D.C., halfway house, former U.S. Rep. Patrick Kennedy told The Associated Press after visiting Jackson.

Kennedy said he spoke with Jackson at the minimum security federal prison camp in Montgomery, Alabama, where the son of the civil rights leader has been serving a 2 ½-year sentence after pleading guilty to illegally spending $750,000 in campaign funds on personal items.

Jackson, an Illinois Democrat, began the sentence on Nov. 1, 2013. The U.S. Bureau of Prisons lists his release date as Sept. 20, 2015.

Thew criminal bum should go to a halfway house somewhere in a small community in an obscure place. WDC? He’ll have many others in the criminal political class to “help” his “recovery”.

Any bets on how long before he’s back in Congress representing his old district?

There’s no end to 2nd, 3rd...15th acts for blacks in American life. Alcee Hastings, impeached & removed as a judge, returns as a member of Congress. Marion Barry, convicted felon mayor of D.C., returns as the Ward 8 city councilman. Bobby Rush, leading Black Panther Party member, also becomes a member of Congress.

Jesse Jerkoff, Jr. will be back in politics. After all, Whitey the Man is really to blame for all his troubles, right?
