Search giant (GOOGLE) averages a White House meeting a week during Obama administration.
As the federal government was wrapping up its antitrust investigation of Google Inc., company executives had a flurry of meetings with top officials at the White House and Federal Trade Commission, the agency running the probe. Google co-founder Larry Page met with FTC officials to discuss settlement talks, according to visitor logs and emails reviewed by The Wall Street Journal. Google Chairman Eric Schmidt met with Pete Rouse, a senior adviser to President Barack Obama, in the White House. The documents dont show exactly what was discussed in late 2012. Soon afterward, the FTC closed its investigation after Google agreed to make voluntary changes to its business practices. (See the FTC document on Google). Googles access to high-ranking Obama administration officials during a critical phase of the antitrust probe is one sign of the Internet giants reach in Washington. Since Mr. Obama took office, employees of the Mountain View, Calif., company have visited the White House for meetings with senior officials about 230 times, or an average of roughly once a week, according to the visitor logs reviewed by the Journal.

Pinging the list, as a FYI..!
Translation: Money in the form of cash is delivered to the White House on a weekly basis by the designated Google bagman
As well as what search terms Justice Roberts has used for the week.
It’s quid pro quo all the way. Government is utterly broken in America. We finally have what liberals have wanted all along - A European America.
It’s teachable how the Left SRM went nuts over Cheney being a former board member of Halliburton, yet the blatant, in your face, pay to play croneyism of the Regime is completely ignored.
A little history. Microsoft had almost no government interaction/lobbying for the first decade and more of their history. Then in the 90s the DOJ went after them on antitrust grounds. They quickly bootstrapped a large lobbying effort as a self defense move.
It could be argued that government causes these companies to get in bed with government.
The Microsoft case (circa 1998) was the last major monopoly case I recall the government bringing.

Boooo, hissssss!
Glad you posted this, read it this morning in the paper.
Sounds like Google was an integral part of WH ops, pre-eminent among the crony capitalists.
I assume all those contribs by S&P 500 companies to Podesta’s Center for American Progress are basically trying to buy amnesty against the avalanche of regime controls.
Thank you for that link! It looks a lot like
https://www.startpage.com/ which is another search engine that is not supposed to give your info to Google
I have had it with Google
