'Duck Dynasty' star Phil Robertson under fire for graphic anti-atheist speech
Fox News ^ | 3/25/15

"Duck Dynasty's" Phil Robertson has come under fire once again, this time for a speech he made about a hypothetical atheist family at an annual prayer breakfast in Florida on Friday.

Robertson described a graphic scenario while sharing his thoughts on those who do not believe in God.

"Two guys break into an atheist's home," Robertson began. "He has a little atheist wife and two little atheist daughters. Two guys break into his home and tie him up in a chair and gag him. And then they take his two daughters in front of him and rape both of them and then shoot 'em and they take his wife and then decapitate her head off in front of him. And they can look at him and say, 'Isn't it great that I don’t have to worry about being judged? Isn't it great that there's nothing wrong with this? There's no right or wrong, now is it dude?'

"Then you take a sharp knife and take his manhood and hold it in front of him and say, 'Wouldn't it be something if this was something wrong with this? But you’re the one who says there is no God, there’s no right, there’s no wrong, so we’re just having fun. We're sick in the head, have a nice day.'

"If it happened to them, they probably would say, 'Something about this just ain't right.'"

Many took to Twitter to voice their disapproval once recordings of Robertson's speech made their way onto the Internet.

Wyatt Grondin and John Pavlovitz, Let’s split up.
Speaking of John Pavlovitz (as in Pavlov's dog? How fitting!) notice he signed his tweet as a Christian. He reminds me so much of the typical 0-worshiping self-hating Jewish lib/prog types who are still bent out of shape over Bibi's stunning victory.

I’m getting to where I no longer believe we should work really hard to convince a person to come to Christ.

Jesus admonished us not to throw the pearls of our faith under the feet and snout of the pigs who hate my faith. Sounds right to me.

I share my faith only with those who are hungry for the Word of God. Not many are.

Simply expanding on the theme of “Crime and Punishment” by Dostoevsky. Wonderful!

Of course, the media is outraged at this “graphic” description of a hypothetical scenario.

They are NOT outraged at the “lady” who recently texted/tweeted/whatever her privates to a conservative guy.

He’s making atheists think, and atheists hate thinking.

AND he couldn’t care less if you object to what he says.

He has more money than he could/would ever spend. In truth, he probably looks forward to the end of DD so he can really tell it like it is.

“Also, Considering Christians are overwhelmingly more likely to be criminals, the sick murderers in this story are most likely Christians”

Isn’t it fun making things up?

His argument is with Moral Relativism, which aligns with atheist leanings. Liberals don't have an answer for it and result to yelling and "feelings."

Do you recall that stuff about the Good Shepherd who goes out into the wilderness to find the one lost sheep? The Good Shepherd who would lay down his life for the sheep?

You think that's foolish and futile?

I would like for an atheist to provide a basis for morality that does not ultimately derive from God. I don’t think it is possible for there to be one. If there is no God, nothing we do matters, and we can do anything we want. I think in our increasingly Godless society, the only reason most people continue to be moral is just habit. It can go away quickly, as witnessed by ISIS.

Really? That’s all you liberals have to say? Make stuff up?

Go ahead and show us proof, liar. Well, you are a liberal so I repeat myself.

Atheists are not against God, they are against principles. They are relativists. The principled are absolutists.

Oh, he has proof, all right, like all those chick flicks on Lifetime, not to mention watching a few too many episodes of Cold Case and Law and Order where 99.9% of the time the child molesters/serial killers/serial rapists/wife beaters or other assorted bad guys are portrayed as White Christians.

I think that analogy was in very poor taste.

Nor do I think that atheists don't believe in right and wrong.

That story doesn’t make any sense to me. I think I get his point, but he delivered it in a really bad way.

So, the bad guys broke into the atheist’s house. Seems to me the atheist and his family were minding their own business in their own home.

What religion are the bad guys? I think the bad guys are to blame here... not the atheists.

I think he could have used a better example.

Atheism and Statism go hand in hand. Denying that rights come from God reduces men to pieces of meat to be disposed of as the state sees fit. It makes it so much easier to murder millions, which was the legacy of 20th century communism.
