But, when the Kreuznach is executed properly...well, c’est magnifique!
Don’t forget the mustard, mon ami!.

There’s a reason why he took 149 lives with him.
Who was the other American onboard?

"...there are no indications that the co-pilot, Andreas Lubitz, had any kind of terrorist background, the Reuters news agency reports." Maybe not (yet), but then they thought Bowe Bergdahl was just an innocent who was kidnapped, too.

I don't think he was a Muslim; someone posted earlier that after seeing the picture of him in San Fransisco his “gaydar” went off. I tend to agree, Muslims are not known for their acceptance of homosexuals.....

There were two Americans, a mother and college-age daughter. The mother was an aviation intelligence analyst.

I agree- no question. If not an “act of terror”, this guy was on a suicide mission.
This is just so unbelievably horrible. Those poor passengers had to be terrified, once they realized what was happening.

Certainment!
My wife was born in Bad Constadt.
There is absolutely no going back from that, once it is Bad.

Hey...good joke...but aside from that, and looking at your tagline, the name ‘bad kreuznach’ should be of interest to you.
As I understand it, Bad Kreuznach is the ‘baths’ (bad) at the ‘place of the kreuz’ or CROSS.
Apparently, in Roman times along the southern side of the Rhine, there were Christians among those soldiers.

Check to see if he owned a gun!
This would provide additional ammunition for the gun control crowd!

Pics of young Andreas are on another FR thread.
Pegs the needle on the gaydar.
Either a lover’s spat, or he got outed and was about to lose his job and decided to go out in a flame of glory.
Cannot discount that possibility - although he may have also been a recent convert.

“I doubt a 28 year old would be flying an airbus of a US airline.”
They do. It is not uncommon. In fact, airlines prefer to get pilots as young as possible for cost reasons and because they haven’t picked up bad habits they have to unlearn from someplace else.

The French news conference had this question. The response is that the plane was on auto pilot. To begin the descent you would have to turn and turn and turn the wheel, not just a little eg if you passed out and you nudged the wheel.
The man is breathing normally.
Secondly, the pilot can unlock or lock the door from within. If he puts it on “lock” you cannot enter with the pass code.
In the USA someone must be in the seat if a pilot leaves. This is not the case in Europe.
