both wrong. problem is Christian people are too nice. Today, that gets you, or your wife, or your kids beat up at best, raped or killed at worst. And it gets worse everyday because nice civil folks don’t want to face real racism and evil. Conservative type folks can be just as delusional as those on the left.
there is a time to be nice and Christian, and there is a time not be to nice. We are way past the time not be nice (semi “Roadhouse”-ish but applicable).
Verse 13 comes before verse 14. We have not yet fully experienced verse 13, indeed we are only beginning to feel the curses of Deuteronomy 28- and when you read verses 1-15, you can easily see The Lord's Blessing bestowed upon this country for America had fulfilled that part of the covenant as even DeToqueville noted in "Democracy in America".
However, because we have abandoned the Lord as a nation - and the church is become lukewarm at best - the curses from verse 15 to the end are absolutely beginning to be visited on us.
If we do not repent as a people and nation - out utter destruction is certain. God's Word is true, whether we would choose to believe it or not.
