Jim Talent to Scott Walker's team "...It's a big get for the Wisconsin governor as he draws up a campaign plan and team: In the coming election cycle, foreign policy figures are expected to loom especially large given the increased frequency of threats brought by ISIS and other terrorist groups. Talent was a foreign policy adviser to both of Mitt Romney's presidential bids, and nearly every major potential GOP hopeful this cycle has courted him. "....

It cracks me up how these sufferers of PDS continue to mock Sarah Palin, AS IF the current “genius” we have now is doing such a wonderful job.

I also think business experience is important. Preferably small business. Someone who has had to sacrifice to make payroll. Someone who has had to make painful decisions about benefits and had to take out a loan to cover taxes. Someone who has had to let an employee go because there was not enough money to keep them.

Sadly, any bar or convenience store owner in the country has vastly more experience than our current president! They also understand the American Dream. He has no clue whatsoever about that!

Walker is making a good point about executive experience. Being POTUS means you have to deal with Congress, the federal bureaucracy, etc.

Walker has shown he can lead people toward conservative solutions and put those in place.

I do not see a whole lot of accomplishments from the other candidates on conservative issues. Not Jeb, not Christie.

Cruz has no real leadership experience. He can give a speech and take a position, but has he demonstrated an ability to build a consensus on issues? He can’t get the Senate to go along with his ideas!

I love Ted Cruz, but I would rather see him stay in the Senate longer....to help steer it conservative....and then run for higher office in Texas....like when Abbott’s terms are over.

We have to stop latching onto the first new, shiny thing that sounds good before they had a chance to prove themselves. Cruz is in his first term. Let him do what he does best....pull the Senate to the right.

Walker is basically right, it’s a criticism of Obama that is right on. He’s incapable of sitting down with people who disagree with him and have an actual conversation. He runs from it every time, he is not open.

This criticism is in addition to Obama’s nutty leftism. He would be even worse if he were competent, he’d probably crash the plane if he could.

[Article, quoting smartass tweets]
Hesiod Theogeny @Hesiod2k11 - @ed_kilgore - More specifically, it makes Sarah Palin more qualified than John McCain. 12:32 PM - 26 Mar 2015

Actually, the tweet is actually correct. Palin is objectively more "qualified" than McCain by her character and by her feel for the American People, rather than her familiarity with PRC poohbahs, like McCain.

LOL! Ed Kilgore is your typical Progressive hack hypocrite, and charter member of NAMBOLA (North American Media-Barack Obama Love Association).

I'd never heard of the putz, so I went and checked his little "Thievington, District of Corruption insider blog".

This week, ol' Ed The Hypocrite is wringing his hands about an "abuse of taxpayers’ dollars" by Senator Tom Cotton and his letter to Iran.

Bring up Sunni prince Obama's "abuse of taxpayers’ dollars" with his golf and other junkets, and Ed is on Obama's posterior like a Hoover vacuum cleaner, making sure nothing sticks to the rump of the Love of his professional life.

I'm sure criticism of Obama's $300 bottles of wine and $90 a pound Wagyu steaks is nothing but a "dog whistle" to ol' Ed The Hypocrite...
