By rights, that shouldn’t be a warning flag. It’s a sad commentary on today’s Chamber of Commerce’ devious nature concerning illegal immigration, that it is.
I have been hoping, also, that the two camps are already talking to each other about this. They could present their views in the primaries without making personal attacks on each other.
They would make a very strong team in the Presidential election, very strong. I would rather have Cruz as the Presidential candidate, but I could accept him as VP as long as he gets to have a strong voice in the government.
I don’t think either one would accept being a figurehead, nor should they.
Todays CoC is nothing like the one you and I grew up with.
I would have to agree. They have watched the Democrats eviscerate business in this nation, have clapped wholeheartedly, and are in the tank for the worst policies in the history of our Republic.
Why not just call them what they are, “The Chamber of Democrats and Democrat Sympathizers.”
Most are “country club” Republicans, a la Rove, Bush, Flake, etc.
Yes, I would agree with that.
Haven’t they generally always been that, having morphed on important issues to a more Leftist stance?
The SAME type of people tried to stop Reagan. Over the past 30 years, they only care about money. When they get done plundering the middle class in America, they will merely move elsewhere, and plunder another country.
The problem with naming a VP now is that he'd be tying himself to that person. If they blunder, it might damage him too. Why risk it?
Ted Cruz has the ability to win without having to either join with, or even attack, the others. Of all of them-He makes the best, most compelling case for conservatism.
That’s pretty much my take on it also.
They don’t give a rip about the U. S. any more than the same players did Great Britain before us.
This is all about their own self-interest, and the rest of society be damned.
I don’t like taking the “elitists” to task, because we all long to be one. None the less, when it comes to what is taking place today, you have to sit up and take notice.
In other societies over the ages, these sorts of things have obviously taken place. We’re not the first ones to notice.

The only problem with saying this is it eventually slips into nihilism.
Big time drug dealer: “ I make a million a week, and if I don’t make this money, someone else will.”
Yeah, I’d go along with that to a certain extent. I’ve known people in the middle class that were very active too, but I don’t disagree with your premise.
Guys in the upper elite don’t get their hands dirty though. They manipulate others to do their work for them.
I recognize the problems with the super elite, even just simply overly wealthy.
Where I draw the line, is if they have a conscience. If they care about others and try to do the right thing, I don’t care how much people make.
If they’re into illegal activity or screwing anything and anyone for another dime, then of course they deserve our scorn. In fact, they deserve to become penniless.
” If they care about others and try to do the right thing, I dont care how much people make.”
Same here, in spades.
I developed this philosophy after watching the Democrats vilify people who were rich, simply because they had money. And their idea of rich at various times dips down into the $20 thousands per year income range at times.
Of course this includes every small businessman and up. Heck it covers people working in service sector jobs too.
If you work your fingers to the bone, you’re a target.
You MUST pay your fair share of taxes, at an ever increasing rate.

If you look up the 50 richest billionaires on the Forbes 400, almost all of them are leftists. The techies have a lot to do with this.
They both have non-governmental Twitter accounts, and Cruz is crushing Walker in the number of followers.
Most ridiculous reason to chose a candidate in history. Walker is too busy to worry about Twitter. It takes 24-7 to run a state.......other jobs, not so much.
Walker has people to worry about Twitter.
You are so smart.
well thank you
