Is this going to be a team similar to the “Snowbirds” demonstration team?

There's gonna be a big airshow in May at an Air Force base about an hour from me.The Blue Angels are gonna be there as will the Snowbirds and,IIRC,another Canadian unit (can't recall the name).I'll be there...rain or shine!

Just FYI...for anyone not aware of this...I learned just recently that the Blue Angels (and,IIRC,the Thunderbirds)perform their precision air show routines *without* G-suits because,it was explained, wearing G-suits when flying as close as they do would present the possibility of errors at critical moments. It's said that these pilots must pass rigorous physical exams to insure that they can safely tolerate the G-forces they would experience.

Nice paint job, but I just can’t get excited about the F-18 Hornet. We should have upgraded to the Super Hornet years ago. Fer cryin’ out loud, there’s a F-18 Hornet at the Air Museum in Ottawa now, and our people are still flying them !
