To: Diogenesis

Believe it or not my husband still has all his orders in his military jacket from ‘54-62. They are kept as safe as any other family document and I’ve never seen the need for the file to be taking up room. Guess it makes sense now in light of this.

Hope this gets lots of attention AND ACTION! No one who served in the military should have to fight the BS bureaucracy once they are discharged.

The VA said my FIL was never on Enewetak. Since most of the records were classified maybe they were telling the truth about having no records.

But when looking though his records we found a letter of commendation for his work there.

Save the records. You never know what may be needed in the future.
